2009 NPC Bill Pearl High Desert Classic Bodybuilding, Figure & Fitness Championships Competitor Information

Location: Summit High School, Bend, OR! Contest will be held in the Auditorium, the Health and Fitness Expo will be held in the Cafeteria at the High School
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO COMPETITORS: You must bring your own bed sheets and towels, as you will be charged if any of the Hotel linens are stained by your body tanning products.
Eligibility: Entrants must be current NPC registered athletes. You may register with the NPC at early competitor check-in on Friday evening the 1st or final check-in on the 2nd, 2009 NPC Registration fee 1s $80.00. Novice competitors must have not placed first in any contest.
Entry Fee: $45 for your first class entered, $75 total for 2 classes. If you are entered in at least 1 class, mixed pairs registration is free. You may enter a maximum of two classes (if qualified) & Mixed pairs. Example: Master’s/Novice Or Master’s/Open or Juniors/Novice, or Juniors & Open. A Bodybuilding combination of Open/Novice is not allowed. Fitness/Figure entrants may compete in both Fitness & Figure/ or Master’s Figure/ & a Figure Height Class. The fee must accompany the entry form via check or PayPal. Make check or money ordered payable to Central Oregon Bodybuilding Association, 61383 S. Hwy 97 Ste. B, Bend, OR 97702. You may also use PayPal to pay with Visa or MasterCard. Once you enter there are no entry refunds.
“On time” Entry Deadline: Friday April 24th, 2009. After April 24th the late entry fee is: $60.00 for one class, $85 for two classes.
Music: Music must be recorded on an audio CD’s (no MP3 Files) with your 60 second music being the only recording on the CD, no other form will be accepted. Music must be turned in at competitor check in or you will not be able to complete the check in process. *We reserve the right to substitute a house music recording if your music is not acceptable.
OPEN WOMEN: Your tape or CD may contain NO PROFANITY. Attention: Bodybuilders will be allowed 60 seconds for their posing round and Women’s Fitness up to 2 minutes.
Absolutely NO SEXUAL INNUENDOS are allowed in your routines or in your music. This is grounds for disqualification by NPC rules and will be enforced. If you have musical lyrics or routine “moves” that are questionable, please remove them from your routine & or music. This is an event attended by all, from kids to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s.
Video: No video cameras or Tripods are allowed, no Professional Photographing will be allowed. The competition will be professionally photographed and video taped. Video & DVD orders will be taken at the event and post event orders may be called into Central Oregon Bodybuilding Association at 541-317-8798.
COMPETITORS REGISTRATION: Our early check-in is located at Fairfield Inn & Suites Downtown on Friday, May 1st from 6:00 – 8:30 PM. FINAL Bodybuilders Check-in is Saturday May 2nd, from 8:00 – 9:00 AM. All competitors must have their posing suit under their sweats or clothing. Even if you are not in a weight class you still must show the NPC officials your suit. Competitors please allow time to be processed through and finished Saturday before 9:00 AM.
Guidelines: All competitors will follow NPC rules, guidelines, and mandatory poses. The location of the SATURDAY Competitors Meeting is in the Summit High Auditorium. Saturday AM Check-in will close promptly at 9:00 AM and the Competitor Meeting will be at 9:20 AM. The Competitor Meeting is Mandatory, as you will receive instructions. All contestants will be introduced and pose at the night show! Top 5 per class will be called back for awards and nighttime routine.
*All Competitors will be judged on Saturday morning. This includes all Bodybuilders, Figure & Fitness Competitors. The Judging Event will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday May 2nd. Judging Round Admission will be pre-sold, and also available at the door, entrance may begin at 9:00 AM, Admission cost is $15.00.
The Saturday May 2nd Bodybuilding Championship Final Performance all Tickets are $35. Final Performance seats will also be pre-sold, with a combo package available for $45. Any remaining unsold seats will be available at the door beginning at 6:00 PM, however please keep in mind that there is not a price reduction for waiting to purchase until you reach the doors, therefore it is advised that you pre-purchase to guarantee availability. ATTN: Visa and MasterCard payments are available through PayPal for Pre-purchase tickets. Tickets sold at the door will be cash or check payment only.
*If you lose or forget your Finals tickets, you will not be entering without buying another ticket. Please make sure that you have your tickets before you leave home for the event; please store them in a safe place at home after your purchase.
This event will be very likely to sell out in advance of the show date, so please be aware that tickets go on sale January 15th 2009.
SIDENOTE: This event is a non-profit event benefiting the Central Oregon Special Olympics. Proceeds from this event will go back to this organization.
